Upload Product Images

It would be nice to add some text to explain how the images work.

I just discovered that I could use the same image for both and it automatically re-sizes the image. This is a great feature and it would be a shame if people didn't realize that they didn't have to make two different size images.

It would also be a huge time saver if we could specify a default folder for store images (don't know where they're stored now). That way we could upload all the images using FTP and just copy the sku into the field instead of browsing for each image. Right now you are forced to use Browse even if you know the name of the image.

Example:

Store Image Folder:
siteroot/store/images

SKU: 12345
<label for="ProductThumb" class="readonly-image">Catalog Image:</label> 12345
<label for="ProductImage" class="readonly-image">Detail Image:</label> 12345

The Browse button would still be used to upload images one at a time.

I would also like to see the file name of the image displayed on the product update page so we can make sure it's correct.
