Tutorial for AJAX Sortable Rows with Data Assist

OK... a number of folks have talked about this over the years, so here it is.

I have been able to make some quick modifications to the DataAssist results page which will allow you to drag and sort the rows in ANY order you want and then save the new order.

Best of all, it's far better than ADDT ever was as you don't have to click the arrows and go one row by one row. This will allow you to turn your pointer into a hand and drag as many places at a time as you wish.

The tutorial is here: blog_detail.php?id=16

Unfortunately, I didn't have time to upload images but I will offer support as quickly as I can to anyone who needs extra help. Once you get the hang of it, you will find yourself being able to do it rather quickly by keeping a few snippets handy.

Enjoy... I hope it is helpful to some of you.

Brian
