You could make these changes but if you do this you will loose the ability to have the product options when you add the item to the cart.

To get it workign like this would require you to make use of eCart to add in the add to cart functionality to this page. Once added you could update the button to be the same as the one on the details page. This will allow you to add the item to the cart from the listing page.

As for the continue shopping button you can make it always go to any page in the site you would like by editing the code. You can use eCart to alter the continue shopping server behavior that is applied and just specify the redirect in there and uncheck the box to go to previous URL.
