Change Format of Form

Thread began 1/13/2010 4:04 pm by elevy388997 | Last modified 1/14/2010 8:57 am by elevy388997 | 1067 views | 3 replies

neilo

CSS Form Builder isn't designed to work with tables; it is primarily a tool for designing css built forms. (hence the name!).

You could conceivably (once a form has been created) house some of the elements in a table of your own design, but really there would be no point.

If you want to have a form that looks like the example you gave, and you want it to made in tables format, then the one from the page you referenced and the code in the zip I posted will give you that layout, with the colours and styles too.

You just need to add the whole table to a page, and as the styles are all inline, you are good to go (from a design point of view).

It might be worth your while - as you have CSSFB - giving it a spin to see what that will come up with. But if you want one like you linked to, CSSFB isn't really going to do it.

Good time to make the switch to css forms!

You would still in either scenario have to add the functionality to send the form using whatever method you like.
