Extension won't be installed - again...again
As a long-time WebAssist extension user it just drives me crazy that you all think all the installation bugs for all the extensions I use (validation toolkit, cookies, HTML editor) are just a matter of, well you know, just uninstall every extension and then reinstall them all, is like, you know, well... just like a drive around the park.
You squander a lot of goodwill.
Oh rename your configuration file and screw everything up. What a lark! That's so simple I don't know why I don't do it every day.
Deleting the cache file never works, by the way. Never. It does for some things but not WebAssist things.
I had to go through all this who-ha when I installed HTML editor to replace iRite. Rename the configuration directory, reinstall everything. Blah, blah, blah.
And now I have to do it all again just to install an update of validation toolkit. "Internal Error. Contact WebAssist support. Extension won't be installed"
WebAssist says: Hey, you know, like, just delete the cache file (again, doesn't work) or if that doesn't work, just uninstall and then reinstall everything. Ugh.
How about this? How about I just stop trying to upgrade and stop buying WebAssist extentions?
