When you are inserting the data into your db is is being reformatted then, or when you retrieve the results and view them? When you are adding in the info use the source button to see all of the source then copy this to a text file. Then go into your db and check what is stored for that record, you can copy it to another text file. If they differ in any way then that would indicate that the formatting is occurring on insert. If they are the same then it would be when you are retrieving the results that they are becoming formatted incorrectly.

Please post back with this info and the the two text files with the data to compare if you can't spot any differences.
