Frustrated with WA extensions

Frustrated with WA extensions

I am so frustrated with software extensions that are supposed to make your life easier, when all they do is add more headaches.

I'm using SecurityAssist and DataAssist for the basic login functions, password update and recovery. But yet, SA does not integrate with Universal Email to send formatted email and when I try to use this instead, it causes the DA update functions to not work properly. It's a round and round situation with nothing working right because there is no product integration.

Trying to use CSS Menu Writer with CSS Sculptor & Site Assist Professional for layout is not as simple as it is made out to be. Then try using DataAssist, do you think CSS Form builder is integrated with that?? Nope! And how about eCart? No CSS integration.

It's like there are all these products that are supposed to work together, but they don't. And trying to figure out all the documentation and tech notes and which products to use first is just nearly enough to kill you.

I really don't know what to do. I just feel like trying to piece this puzzle together is more work than actually learning the proper way to code the site from scratch using CSS and Jquery.
