Can I use ecart for this sort of selection page?

I'm trying to use eCart for the first time, so I'm really feeling my way here. However, I have used other WebAssist extensions in the past so I'm reasonably confident I can work my way into it if it's possible. Here's what I'm trying to do:

I have a product page here:

stockbdprogram.htm

that allows the visitor to select different quantities of seven different product sizes. Yes, I know it's an .htm file and will eventually have to be an .asp or .php file; this is just a mockup to display the interface before I build the backend.

My question is this: Is it reasonable to expect that I can make eCart take the data from this page and enter it into the cart page correctly?

I'm using a static cart because this is the extent of the product line at this point. However, if you think I need to use the dynamic cart I can do that - I'm just assuming that the simpler version will work.

Finally, if this is possible, can you give me a little guidance as to how to do it or at least where to start in the eCart system?

Thanks in advance.

Jon
