Form displays errors before validation
I upgraded from the old contact form 100 ages ago but have never been able to make the new version work.
For example, contactus.php
Displays the error information in black, not red, beside the text boxes on first page load, not after the form has been submitted.
On other sites where I have tried to use the form it displays errors on the return when there are no errors, on the logical question for example.
Would you tell me what I am doing wrong please because this is so fundamental that it means that the product at present is unusable.
OK, I fixed it, that will teach me not to follow the instructions provided. By applying the DW template, as instructed, it destroyed two blocks of PHP, the one after document title and the final block after the form. I'm afraid those instructions are seriously misleading and should be changed, must be costing you a lot of time in otherwise unnecessary support.
