dynamic discount names and values

I looked at your previous threads and tutorial and still couldn't quite pull it together. I am trying to dynamically set the name & value of discounts from my database. I have a "add to cart page" that works great with the 5 items each having their own add to cart button. I send the "display manager page" a variable named "dis1" located in the 1 form the discount could apply to, which if it has a value of 1 from the "add to cart page", I want it to give a 10% discount off the one item only. A value of 0 means no discount. Everything works great except I can't get the "display page" to display the discount name or discount value even though it takes the discount out correctly. I set the discount up in discounts tab but what do I need to do to get them to show up in the display? Thanks
