multilingual menus

Hi,
I need to fill (insert/edit/delete) multilingual menus. For this I use two mysql-tables:
1)category:
categories_id (autoincrement, key field)
categories_image
parent_id
sort_order
this is linked to
2) categories_description
categories_id (foreign key to categories table)
language_id
categories_name

the parent_id field holds the values of the categories_id to get the right dependency.
E.g.: the top menu entries all have a "0"
lnguage_id is a numeric value from a third table called "languages" (language_id and language_name).

I need to insert data in the first table, retrieve the categories_id via $_SESSION and post it together with multiple insert into the second table for the categories_name for the different languages.

Would this be possible with "manage relational table"?
Any suggestions?
thanks
Matt
