SiteAssist Pro version 1.0.7 extension roulette
After uninstalling Dreamweaver and all the Webassist extensions I have gone back and began to install the extensions again to see at what point I get the dreaded javascript error and get to start all over again.
On the last round after installing SAP 1.0.7 the next extension installed broke it and the only way I have found to make Dreamweaver work again is to uninstall / reinstall then go back to adding extensions one by one until it doesn't work again.
This time it was SAP 1.0.7 then Security Assist 1.1.8 it worked
Next, Surveyor 1.04 and wasap_wizard does not load so it's another evening shot as I remove then replace Dreamweaver and try extension roulette again.
Simply disabling or removing extensions does not help. Once this error shows up the only solution I have found is to uninstall and then reinstall. There is a great amount of time lost with each attempt as you know as well as the rest of us that these things don't install, deactivate or remove very quickly. All together perhaps 3 hours of my time is stolen from me each time I go through this procedure.
When I play roulette and install another extension one of the first things to come up is an alert that various WA files already exist and do I want to overwrite them. Could this be part of the problem?
I am running Mac OS X 10.6.1 4 GB Ram, Dreamweaver CS4 and am not a particularly happy customer considering the amount of my hard earned money I have spent and having to do troubleshooting that someone at Webassist didn't do.
An to think I was actually going to get something done on a website tonight.
