Problems getting repeating table to display

I'm trying to display data using a repeating table and I'm having trouble with the formatting so I'm looking for some help to find what I'm doing wrong.

Here's what I've got: I've got a div on the page where I'm inserting the repeating table. I've tried numerous combinations of settings for the row and column values. I did get it to work a couple times but the content was either too close together or too spread apart. I'm trying to display 4 rows with 2 or 3 fields of dynamic data in each row. One would be an image and two would be text from the database columns. I found a thread that gave instructions to start the table out as one cell and then divide it in Dreamweaver so that's what I've been trying recently. I then put the dynamic binding in the top td and it displays the alternate styles fine and is laid out correctly with 4 rows, one on top of each other. I then apply the repeat region to the top td and instead of it displaying the records from top to bottom in each of the 4 td's it displays all 4 products horizontally across the top td. I also saw in a thread where the repeat region and repeat selection behaviors should automatically be applied when you insert the repeating table and that has happened but it doesn't all the time, sometimes I have to apply them afterwards.

What I really want is to display the product image on the left with the description text to the right of it. It would display 4 products at a time vertically, I.E one on top of the other.

Can anyone see where I'm going wrong here?
