Error Creating BSM Database MySQL

Page 13 of the eCart Tutorial "To create the sample MySQL database"

The explanation for mac asks to use terminal. Tried it to the letter numerous times, didn't work. I am using MAMP now and have only just recently finished the PHP starter kit so am new to all this dynamic stuff (static web/graphic designer)

Anyway with MAMP running the MySQL Server I can go into MySQL admin and try and create the database form there right?

I copied the blue_sky_music.sql file to the Documents folder as directed, and went to create new database/schema but it gave me an error message. I then tried "restoring" the .sql file instead. I have attached (picture 1 ) to show the error message I keep getting after trying a number of times. (tried turning MAMP off, have run a diagnostic to repair permissions on the HD you name it.)

With MAMP I tried using MySQL Lite to create the db and it seemed to work although it won't sow up in MySQL Admin so I can follow the steps to add the table content.

Sorry if any of the above shows I have no idea, but I just want to push on.
