Universal Email As Newsletter

Universal Email As Newsletter

This is the kind of question that I would prefer to talk about in person, but I will do my best to describe it here on the forum.

How wise is it to try to use Universal Email as a newsletter tool? I have already set up the functionality for using it this way (database, edit page, send page, etc.). However, I am running into some trouble.

First, the recordset loop function seems a little shaky. I have run multiple tests to try to make sure that each email in my recordset receives an email. Unfortunately, my test emails only work for newly added addresses. When I run the test a second time, it does not work for non-newly-added email addresses. (no emails are sent).

Second, I was told by my hosting provider that I can send 150 emails every hour. What if I have 300 people on my list? I doubt that universal email is written to send emails in hourly chunks.

I would like to be able to use universal email as a Newsletter sending tool; however, it appears that I might be trying use it beyond its capacity. I should have run my tests before creating a whole email management system. Anyway, I look forward to a response.

Thanks.

Kevin
