Link in email to protected user update page - login page not redirecting as it should

Hi Ray, I have a link in an email which takes the recipient to a SA protected user update page when clicked. The link goes to the correct page and User ID parameter if the user is already logged into the CMS, and I have the login page set to redirect to the original location if applicable, but if the user isn't logged in it doesn't redirect - after logging in, it goes to the CMS landing page instead. I've attached a copy of the login page and the link in the email is this: http://www.mysite.co.uk/admin_cms/users_update.php?ID=xxxx
