Problem when updating from PhP 5.6 to PhP 7.1

Hello Ray... I had to update PhP version from 5.6 to 7.1 Everything was looking fine in my local development machine but when I uploaded my site to the "live" server the eCart session variables are lost when redirecting to eCart page.!! i.e. When I press any Add to Cart button... it redirect me to an empty cart page.

If I roll back to PhP vs 5.6 everything works as it should... I´m using eCart version 6.1.3

Any idea?
