Redirect problem after successful login and assign user level

Hello

I am having problem with the login and redirect after successful login, I already edited the code to go to $SuccessRedirect = "../admin.php?loggedIn=1";

unfortunately after a first try it redirect to the redirected page but after logout when I try to login again it does not go the redirected page rather it stay on the login page.

Also pls help me how to assign the user level as I didn't find a complete guide on this.
