Reuse MySQL Statement

Is it possible to reuse a MySQL Query created on one page in another page?

For example, if you build a complex query with a set of results on one page but on another page you want that initial set of results with some additional search criteria to further filter results. But you don't want to have to rewrite the whole query again.

I was thinking it may have to do with $Recordset->Statement but I haven't been successful so far.

Thanks!
