Best way to redo authorization for the folder?
Ray, thank you. I had to clean and then reinstall Creative Cloud App to get Anatoyia's Extension Manager to work and it seems to have cleared up the issues with Databridge as well. I am now trying to fix a broken database and replace the authorization for a folder. As you reminded me yesterday, the old security was done with Adobe Interkat, but I did find that I had redone some of the connections with MySqli already. However, and this is the first problem I cannot connect to the Earthlink hosted databases with any program including Navicat. So I can't see the tables, etc. That isn't a problem for you. Just saying that has to be fixed for anything else to work.
However, here is my question, what is the best way for me to replace the security for this admin folder. I believe the rest of the database was created with WA as it is being used to display and update precious metals prices. So the question is 2 pronged... what will i need to do to update 2009 WA php / mysql db code and queries.... if anything? I think the db is currently displaying the last changed metals pricing. Client just cant update them.
Second, how should I replace or redo the pages for security. I will post the old interkat code in a followup post. I am guessing just ripping out the security code is a start. but should i then re apply it to the whole folder?
