You can turn off credit card transactions and the order would be emailed to you instead of making the purchase.

You could set inventory to zero to all of your items and they would show as out of stock so you couldn't purchase.

The other option is to manually remove the add to cart code from the include. If you give me FTP access, then I could do that for you.
