php extension removal
Hi Ray
Not sure if this is possible but wondering if you have a page, for example, www.domainname.com/testpage.php but you want to be able to give someone the url without using the php extension so www.domainname.com/testpage
I have tried redirecting the former to the latter but it gets in a redirect loop
I have tried just accessing www.domainname.com/testpage but it displays as 404
So is it possible to modify this htaccess rule for just a single page rather than any page with a php extension?
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteRule ^([^\.]+)$ $1.php [NC,L]
Many thanks
Jamie
