Another date related issue!

Trying to unpick numerous similar problems in this forum for a solution, to save asking a duplicate question.

However I tried a few options all were unsuccessful.

I have a date picker on my form which saves a selected date to my sql table where it is saved as a date format.
And I get how sql will always default the save format to yyyy-mm-dd.

My search page has a query option for users to select an expiry date, so results will only return rows where the the stored date is less than the query date. Works fine.

What changes do I need to make in my results and update pages to show the date returned in uk format?
