Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function mysql_connect() install_cms/database.php on line 65

I have posted the error i get when trying to install the PowerCMS I was able to activate and enter all information in the wizard this happens when it trys to setup the DB It appears the full error and file path is below

Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function mysql_connect() in /home3/andy/public_html/subdomains/rw/install_cms/database.php:65 Stack trace: #0 {main} thrown in /home3/andy/public_html/subdomains/rw/install_cms/database.php on line 65

I do have PHP 7 installed and I did purchase an upgrade to DataAssist 2 but it seems Design Extender has not been updated to support php 7 or at least MySQLi I am assuming of course that this is why the mysql_connect() function fails.

I attached a screenshot showing the code for the file the error calls out and it shows line 65

I also attached the file in question just in case it somehow got corrupted on my end or did not generate completely
