The code you gave me has been working. However, when I attempt to open it in Dreamweaver's server behaviors I get an error message (attached JPG). If I save the code using the "OK" button in the dialog box it changes the code and the error message will not reoccur but the update quits working. I have added the update statements the first is the code you sent me (which is working), the second is the Dreamweaver updated code.
~~~~~~~~~~~
$ExecuteQuery->Statement = "UPDATE customer_orders SET customer_orders.OrderTotals = customer_orders.OrderTotals + " . $OnlineOrders->getColumnVal('OrderSubTotal') ." WHERE customer_orders.Email = '". $OnlineOrders->getColumnVal('OrderEmail') ."'";
$ExecuteQuery->Statement = "UPDATE customer_orders SET customer_orders.OrderTotals = customer_orders.OrderTotals + \" . $OnlineOrders->getColumnVal('OrderSubTotal') .\" WHERE customer_orders.Email = '". $OnlineOrders->getColumnVal('OrderEmail') ."'";
~~~~~~~~~~~

Here are my questions:

Why am I getting this error message and why does Dreamweaver give me a version that fails? Is this an issue of the sequence of single and double quotes?

Also, I need to add another SET to the update. I need to SET customer_orders.LastOrderDate = $OnlineOrders->getColumnVal('OrderDate') and I haven't been able to get the syntax right to add that into your code.
