Will we see more Ajax-style functionality in future releases?

Yes, I'm all for more tutorials. But building this functionality into the extension itself, through the visual panels - is this actually limited by the nature of extensions in general?

The issue with modifying any server behavior code - whether it's native DW, or 3rd party extensions is that it "breaks" the entry on the panel, and then you can't open it for further editing. I don't know how many times I've had to created a backup copy of my modified, working file, and start over so I could use the interface, then past the modified code back in.

And the stuff I'm thinking of is all data related, and it's all done without page refresh. Such as:

1. Check for existing User name.
2. View the Detail of the selected record by expanding the content to display a region.
3. Update a record!
4. And there's more, they're all over the net, Facebook is a good example. And they all need that little circle loader, and grey out the button once is pressed!

I'm getting ready to throw the switch on my subscription, and maybe some of this stuff is in there already, but if I knew WA was heading in this direction I would be more enthused. You gotta admit that the whole "page set' approach is getting old, almost deprected, eh?

Does anyone else share this opinion, or am I the only one?
