Hi Ray

Thanks for the prompt reply. I read several threads here and have tried the first option and deleted the connection scripts and can see the new one uploading to the site but this hasn't fixed the issue.

In the site connection settings the files are mapped directly into the public_html directory at the server end i.e there is no directory path specified in DW. Could this be the issue? Everything works and as I say the pages work form the web end but I cant 'test' the connections which as you can imagine slows things down.
