Intermittent Image Upload Rotation Issues

I've seen some old threads about this, but it sounds like it was fixed long ago. I don't think I've run into it until now for some reason. If I upload a Jpeg straight from my Sony camera or straight from my iPhone, vertical images get rotated horizontally. If, however, I open the images in photoshop and export as a "Save for Web" (changing nothing else), they upload correctly in vertical fashion.

I've attached my insert page. For some reason, I can't get the images to upload here but I've posted publically in this folder http://adventsite.live/test-photos/ . One is raw straight from the phone (IMG_1582.jpg which rotates improperly), the other has been opened in photoshop and saved for web (IMG_1582mod.jpg which uploads as expected).
