The tutorial Dynamic Dropdowns with Data Bridge 2.0 is not working with my project. The reason seems to be the database structure.

I have tried to start from your tutorial Dynamic Dropdowns with Data Bridge 2.0 to create a corresponding dynamic dropdown for my project.

But its not working. The reason seems to be the structure that the tables in the tutorials have.

It does not feel realistic given the normalization of databases to have two tables with the same content in. As in your case where the cities name is in text in both tables.

The more logical here is, I guess - is that the field 'teamTown' in the table 'teams' instead contains a number that refers to the corresponding field 'townName' in the table 'towns'. That's how my database is built.

See the attached picture of how my structure looks.

How do I create a dynamic dropdown in this case?

I guess I need to change the code from step 2: Define child page recordset, in the tutorial in someway, but I don't know how?
