security assist wizard login page not working

I have used the security assist wizard to create registration pages to be part of a revised application system. Once the pages were created I removed styles and JS validation as I need to eventually embed the page into my template and then add my own jQuery Validate Code. The registration page is ok and enters the correct details to the database including the SHA1 encrypted password.

but when I test the login page it fails. Ive had a problem with this before and I think its an issue with the SHA1 encryption. I might be missing something or using incorrectly. Ive attached all wizard pages plus the 'wa_sha1encryption.php' file.

database details in PM

Thanks in advance.
