They aren't directly related to DMXZone, but it is their own interfaces that don't work, so I'm surprised they would point fingers at us. The issue exists without any of our extensions installed at all. It is an issue with the Bindings window and the create database window.
That is interesting. Maybe it does have something to do with our interfaces if that is what they are claiming. I'm going to do a clean install with just the Server Behaviors and Database extension installed and none of ours and see if the problem persists.
Well I just tried. I did a clean install with just the Server Behaviors and Database extension and no webassist extensions and the same problem occurs. So there is no way it could be "our" problem. When you report the issue to Adobe don't even mention webassist so they don't have a chance to deflect.
With just the server behaviors and database extension installed:
1) If you add a recordset and click the define connection button DW crashes
2) If you add a connection through the database panel then it works, but it doesn't ever show in the database panel (it will show in the recordset dialog and you will be able to create a recordset at this point)
3) In the advanced recordset dialog the tree control that allows you to build your query doesn't work. Clicking the Add to query or Where buttons do nothing.
4) If you try to add a binding to a form element it won't work. Add a form text field to the page. Go to the properties panel and click the lightning bolt. You won't be able to select anything from the bindings panel.
You don't need a webassist extension installed to reproduce any of these problems, so they really can't be related to us directly. Unfortunately we will probably have to fix the problem even though it isn't ours to begin with. We can create a new Database Panel and a new Bindings panel and rewrite out extensions to use ours instead of theirs now that it is broken. It just holds up our progress once again, which is the sad part.
