Most of our customers are either web developers or designers, or are at least saavy enough to update their web browser.

The end users of our solutions could be anyone, which is why our product and solution output is supported by earlier browsers such as IE6.

The least-technical person that may use our products still needs to:
1) Register a domain name
2) sign up for a hosting account
3) FTP web pages

We felt that if someone were saavy enough to do these things they could also update their browser. We checked our browser statistics and less than 2% of the people were coming in using IE6, so it didn't seem worth developing for when we could offer a better experience with a more modern browser.
