It is true that the Getting Started Guide for eCart was created quite a while ago, and we know it needs updating. It is actually slated to be updated in the near future. However, since WebAssist has decided to focus our efforts on PHP/MySQL only, you will not likely see much of an update in regards to ASP instructions.

If you are completely new to building websites, i encourage you to use PHP/MySQL instead of ASP. All future WebAssist products will not be working with ASP.

To get you started with PHP/MySQL, take a look at this guide here:

Build websites with a little help from your friends

Your friends over here at WebAssist! These Dreamweaver extensions will assist you in building unlimited, custom websites.

Build websites from already-built web applications

These out-of-the-box solutions provide you proven, tested applications that can be up and running now.  Build a store, a gallery, or a web-based email solution.
