Desperation causes me to try yet again to build a form

iMac Retina 5k 3.5GHz i5. 8GB DDR3. OS X 10.10.5. Latest versions of Adobe CC and all the relevant plug-ins.
Attempted to simply place a form on a page by making the fewest necessary options to see whether I could actually start the process which I have, at times, been able to do in the past. But this time when I hit "Finish" I get the following error making it necessary to cancel out.

And please I ask your indulgence in the following rant.
I use your products because I am stupid about these things and not willing (I am probably able but at 69 I'd rather turn bowls on my lathe and build antique cars and bikes: something I'm very good at) to learn how to build forms from scratch that are as comprehensive as yours are intended to be. It has been far too long for a resolution to this ongoing problem and I am rather surprised that there isn't more dissension in the ranks. I look at other products (DMX comes to mind) and in order to achieve the same results I'd have to spend considerable $. I think it would be in all our best interest if you could suggest a potential workaround that could get us through these trying times. It seems from what I've read here and from the little knowledge I've gleaned about you that you are more than capable of resolving these problems. I can only assume that you simply have too much on your plate.
