date validation and date calculation?

Hi all,
how can I validate date after computing it?
Example:
I have a datepicker fields that allow users to pick a date.
The validation server behaviour should check if the date entered is past the 7 days before now.

Other example: I should check the birth date entered by user and trhow an error it if is < 18 years.
How can I do this with WA data assist?
