Re-Direct Site

Understood, but that is too bad.

As I have been reviewing our indexed pages, Google has both http and https already indexed. Been doing a lot of studies on Google blogs and their webmaster tool forums. Everyone thinks it is smart to consolidate the http and https pages. So I decided to look into which one. Per Google, they give websites a small ranking benefit for https currently, but it is sure to increase in the future. Also, when customers see your site in the rankings, they are more likely to click on an https site than an http site. Thus I asked pro webmaster in the forums, and all thought it was smart to make the move. Since Google has versions of both indexed, as https://ginelectronics.com/categories/volume-controls for example, I had my employee change all our custom links to https over the weekend. This response from you is the first negative thing I have heard of https so started the change not even thinking it would not be possible. In testing both, I did not notice any speed of site difference, but you would know better than me.

Since Google is encouraging and the web is heading in that direction, please let me know when Cafe Commerce will be going there...

Thanks For Your Time...
