How can I tell which version of eCart I used to create a site ?

I have an "historic" customer ask me to take a look at their site as paypal express has stopped working for some reason but I am not sure at this point whether I used eCart 4 or 5 to create his cart and I don't want to open it up in 6 as I modified the code fairly heavily at the time.

If I can reinstall the cart extension I used then I would feel more comfortable working on it.
