Is DataBridge 1.2.3 now compatible with MySQLi ?

OSX 10.10.4
DB 1.2.3
eCart 6.11

I am trying to build a shopping cart and have created a DW legacy connection to a MySQL database. I just upgraded to DataBridge 1.2.3 and now DreamWeaver CS6 crashes constantly when I try to use a DataAssist Pages feature. Is there a configuration I need to adjust or something that needs setting up to prevent these annoying crashes? It is the "+" button to select columns to be inserted that crashes DW whenever I click on it.
