I'm not sure why the error says there is an @ symbol on that line? Are you sure that is the live version of the page?
Usually you don't go to the secure page until you are filling out secure information... but usually the secure page is at the same site.
If you went from http://browngrotta.com to https://browngrotta.com it wouldn't be an issue. The problem is that you are going to an entirely different domain. You should install your ssl certificate on the same domain so that you don't have to switch sites for secured pages. This has nothing to do with the version of the shopping cart. It has to do with how session variables work in general.
