With the MySQLi Authentication, there are some limitations. Encryption is not specifically supported, it would need to be added by hand coding.

for a multi level authentication system, you would need to create multiple login pages, one for each level.

in the Authentication, you set a name for the login, make sure each login uses a different name.

as an example, lets say for users, you set the user level column value to 1, and admins have a user level value of 2.

when you create the users login, name it users, on the Find record tab, bind the Username column to the user name form element, and the password column to the password form element. and in the user level column enter 1, this is the value for users.

when you create the admin login, same steps except set the user level value to 2.

when you add the restrict access to page behavior, select the corresponding login name for the page based on the access level that should be allowed.

We are working on an upgrade to Data Bridge to add MySQLi support into Security Assist. it is much simpler to implement this in Security Assist.

we hope for the upgrade to be available soon.
