I checked with Ray, and he says there is no way that anything done in the support session would have effected sending the email.
It could be that the email is in a queue with the hosts SMTP server and may take a little while to come through. Or it could be the email has been trapped in a spam filter.
to troubleshoot, you can dump the session on the success page:
<?php var_dump($_SESSION); ?>
the session will include the status of passing the email to the server. if that says that it was successful, than something on the server end is preventing the email from being relayed to the recipient
