Question about MYSQLI and your products in relation to the future

Hi,

I am planning on making the transition to MYSQLI and intend on using your product MYSQLI server behaviors to do it as I have been a webassist customer as far back as I can remember

Before I purchase mysqli server behaviors, I need to understand one thing

My understanding is the PHP Update will eventually affect all scripts and websites that use mysql

If I use your MYSQLI product, I will use it for all the various jobs of connecting to the db, recordsets, inserting, updating ect.. of course

However, my question is

what happens with the code generated by your other extenshions?

Specifically your eCart, file upload, email ect... is the code these products produce not affected by the mysql update or is this an issue that will need to be addressed in future versions of your products?

I want to know as if the code of these products affected... then I dont see the point in using mysqli server behaviours as it would still affect other areas of my site.?

Or is my understanding wrong? Please clarify this point so I can proceed to my order.

Thank you!
