Deactivating Ecart and Design Extender Issue - Dreamweaver CS5

I'm trying to deactivate Ecart and Design Extender to upgrade to Dreamweaver CS6. I got Javascript error alerts whenever I try to unistall either product.

1. Design Extender
After receiving Javascript errors I deleted the DW5 configuration file as suggested in a relevant post. Design Extender was removed from DW5; but my account login still shows it as an active serial number.
2. Ecart
I get a Javascript error message when trying to uninstall. I'm not game to try the above method again.
Any help would be appreciated.
Regards
Michael Shaw
