field contents makes page not show

This extension is brilliant!
On page http://www.rotary-ribi.org/districts/tab-clubsmap.php?DistrictNo=1180 I have managed to get different colours for different days, but there are another couple of refinements I'd like to add;
1) to NOT have a default (last record) details displayed when the page opens.
2) In the following code on page wagmp_map_2.php, I'd like to make 2 additions;
a) There is a 'MeetVenue' field, which contains a few lines of text. Whenever I add clubs.MeetVenue as a field, the entire map fails to load - I assume this is because of the field contents. I have tried to add ".nl2br($row_rsClubsCoOrd['MeetVenue']) ."<br /> into the code below, but the map then doesn't display.
b) have an if statement in the code, so if there is a cluburl in the recordset, it displays a link to their website

3) - sorry, just remembered this one; I've experimented with the different map display areas (small country, reasonable driving distance, neighbourhood etc), but can' find one that will just cover all the place markers. Is this possible?
