does Image Resizer work with base64 images
Hey Guys,
I'm trying to use ajax to update a photo on a page and the base64 image dynamically generated does not seem to re-size even though the image properties give the correct dimensions...
Here is the excerpt:
<input type="file" name="inst_image" id="inst_image" style="background-color:#FFF" onchange="PreviewImage()" />
<script type="text/javascript">
function PreviewImage() {
var oFReader = new FileReader();
oFReader.readAsDataURL(document.getElementById("inst_image").files[0]);
oFReader.onload = function (oFREvent) {
document.getElementById("uploadPreview").src = oFREvent.target.result;
};
};
</script>
<?php
if(TRUE){ // Begin Cached Resized Image: ImageCacheInstance_1401971755331
ob_start();
?>
<img width="176" height="176" id="uploadPreview" title="New Class Image" />
<?php
echo(getCachedResizedImageHTML(ob_get_clean(), "images", "proportion", "", false));
} // End Cached Resized Image: ImageCacheInstance_1401971755331
?><
I am uploading the file ok on update, but the image displayed on screen is skewed.
Also the image properties show....
data:image/jpeg;base64,/9j/4AAQSkZJRgABAgEAYABgAAD/7gAOQWRvYmUAZAAAAAAB...
instead of the extensions folders to the resized image.
I hope you guys have a way to use the extension in this type of application... or would consider including this in future release
Thanks
Let me know
Tony
