Some Ecommerce/product search advice needed

Hey Jason

I am working on an Ecommerce site for a client that doesn't really conform to a category based structure as the products a incredibly varied/eclectic.

As such, I am thinking that the best/easiest way to deliver their requirements is to have a shopping page which lists products by most recent.

What I was thinking, to allow visitors some sort of search facility, is to give my client a <textarea> In each product entry where they add keywords associated with that particular product which will then display that product should any or any combination of keywords match that products.

Would I be right in saying that if I were to do it this way, would a partial 'hit' keyword return that product or would it need all keywords in that <textarea> to display that product?

Is there a better way to achieve this with the WA tools and my knowledge?

Cheers in advance

Jamie
