the connection method is determined by the MySQL server, not the code that passes it.

What happens if I have Dreamweaver simply connect to it? Will DataAssist and the other Webassist programs change the code in the pages and interfer with their operation once they are uploaded to the webserver?
i dont understand the question. the WebAssist extensions don't change the connection. they just use the connection code that Dreamweaver creates.
