Problem with database driven image file names in PHP / MySQL?

Nyarg! I knew this process wouldn't be easy but I'm struggling to understand, seemingly, the very basics.
Is there a known issue when populating an IMG tag from a MySQL database?

Here's my code:
<img src="../led-light-bulbs/tmb/<?php echo $row_rsPRODS['LEDimgtmb']; ?>" width="220" height="220" style="border:none;" />

My images are in the correct directory, and when I right click on the images (which are not displaying) I am shown the correct full path:
http://www.ledwarehouseuk.com/led-light-bulbs/tmb/LWP0002.jpg

I've quadruple checked that the image files are in the right place but they just won't display!
I've got everything stored in a restricted directory on this website so if you need access I'll upload the login details and URL for the sign in in the private area.

Hope a PHP regular can point me in the right direction here. Trying hard not to throw PHP out of the window and go back to trusty old Classic ASP here! :o)
