Two Separate Insert Transactions

Howdy WebAssist!

I'm trying to accomplish submitting a form, an announcement, that will insert this into the "Announcements" table, then create a notification (via a record in the "Notifications" table, for each user in a recordset on that same page. Then the universal email will send out an email, telling the user they have a new notification, and a link to view the announcement with it's newly created ID.

From what I can tell, I just need to have two separate insert transactions, triggered by the same form submission, then the universal email transaction triggered after those both complete, right? Question is, after the new announcement is created and the session variable is posted with that primary ID, can the universal email grab it without having to be on a different page that it's redirected to?

Thanks much!
