Help With DataAssist CS6 Crashing

Hello, I’m having a major issue with crashing.
I’m using Dreamweaver CS6 – trying to create pages with DataBridge.
Using Application Type = <New From Blank>
Using design presets – “unstyled” and also “dark” – I have tried both
Things I have tried!
1) Closed the Properties tab and files tab
2) Disabled previews
3) I have uninstalled all of my extensions, I then made sure the Cache file (.dat) was deleted from the Dreamweaver directory. I restarted the computer, installed the extension (databridge) without any of the other extensions (Design Extender & ECart – not installed) I then opened Dreamweaver again and ran the DataAssist wizard and it crashed again.
4) I then did everything in #3 again except I downloaded the Databridge extension again from webassist and re-installed that and still crashing every time.
I do have a subscription to Creative Cloud so I can upgrade to CC version, but last time I tried it, there were some issues with the extensions not working with CC.
I’m running windows 8 system – 8 Gig ram – the website I’m connecting to is on an Apache server.
I see that you get this problem a lot and I would like to see if we can’t get this resolved. Please let me know what you would like me to try so I can make some progress with building these pages for my client.
